CILICIA. Corycus. Valerian I, 253-260. Octassarion (Bronze, 32 mm, 16.09 g, 5 h). [AY] K ΠO ΛIK OYAΛЄPIAN/OC Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust of Valerian I to right. Rev. KΩPYKIΩ[TΩN AY] NAYAPXIC Agonistic crown, containing caduceus, palm frond and apluster, inscribed ΘЄΜΙΑ and set upon table; to right, Dionysus standing left, holding kantharos in right hand and long thyrsus in left; at feet, panther to left. SNG Levante 819. SNG Paris 1222-1225. Pleasant green patina and with a particularly nice reverse. Minor metal flaws on the edges, otherwise, good very fine.
